I saw a solid one but Stoeger loves ropes and picked that one actually! He picked that jolly ball and a furry thing. I wanted a tug tug I can stuff in my pocket bc Wednesday at his obedience class he was finished 30 mins before the class was over. He went to the door ad wouldn't budge. He sat so well for the first half and did everything right but we were practicing heeling and he was tired of repetitions and wanted to leave. I just need something to regain his attention and I think a tug toy will be a winner!
Another late photo update... 19 weeks, 30lbs. & 15 1/4" at the withers.
Our little man is doing well at his obedience classes despite him ending his last class 30 minutes early. After some repetitious leash training. Stoeger went right over to the exit door and stared at it. With an "OK, let's get out of here" look on his face. All the trainer could say was "That's a Bull Terrier for ya, when they're done, they're done." lol He's been practicing all week, we will see how he does tonight at class...
Included is a pic of Stoge's new mobile home. Which he loves to hucklebutt inside and around in the back of the Jeep Cherokee I just bought as our "Dog Car". With the rear seat folded down and the travel crate loaded in. It's the perfect travel accommodations. The crate is a Pet Gear "Other Door". It has a garage door style door, a side door and a roof flap. It also folds down into a roll behind. We love it, as does Stoeger.
Also included are pics of him climbing on Stoges_mom's shoulders like a parrot, keeping my chair warm at the car lot and uncomfortable sleeping location pics.
I failed to post his 20 week pics, which were taken a week & a half ago... But here there are now and some more recent pics as well.
He met a Boxer named Willie this past week. Stoge wanted to play so bad and the Boxer lived up to his name with a few paw-jabs. After they settled down they enjoyed hanging out together in my sales office.
There are some pics of him being a couch potato, enjoying a heated car seat and of course chasing his flirt pole.
He's still going strong on his Victor's GF and raw diet. His favorite new treat is dried sweet potato, he LOVES it!
Here are some pics of him sleeping on a couch with one of the children Stoges_mom baby-sits, another of him cuddling with Stoges_mom, some of him laying on her feet while she does dishes and some shots of him doing what we call "crack-head".
He stuffs his nose in the couch cushions and snorts, it's hilarious! Ever see those pics on FB of entire living-rooms torn apart by an unattended Bullie? I'm fairly certain this is how it starts, haha!!!
There are a couple more mixed in there of him being cute and stuff...
Wow, great pictures! He is becoming such a wonderful looking boy!.. How the heck do you keep that schnoz looking so clean..... I don't blame you for telling hubby to drive all that way to watch the Giants lose on his own, and staying at home with Romeo!
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
Phil, did you see the photo stoegers dad titled 'crackhead'? With his nose stuffed in the cushions.......... There's the answer. Lol that's my guess anyway, and he always is rubbin his nose along the floor or couch. I guess he doesn't like to be dirty !
Lol I shoulda cropped the beer box out! Haha I'm soooo proud of the stoge! The trainer said he was ready for the next class so we went ahead and signed up! We do have to work on heeling and coming to me with a room full of people but I'm pretty confident in him.
Way late on the stoge 6 month update as on the twentieth he will be seven months but I reckon better late than never! Haha
Pic2: he thinks he is still lap dog size and I don't have the heart to tell him he is too big! Pic3: he loves playing with the boys but as soon as he jumped in he wanted to be saved! Lol Pic4: the window sill is one of his FAVORITE spots to get warm and snooze and get his window lickin in. Pic5: on New Year's Eve I told Stoeger we were gonna watch the ball drop...... I think he misunderstood!
I have no idea!! He decided that that's the way he wanted to sit at the time! I laughed so dang hard! I swear he thinks he's a person and if there's a chair in the room he has to be sitting on it!
Yeah! They always told me you Nu Yukkers are so dang smart.... You think I don't know what you're up to huh! Us Suvvern Boys know a thing or three as well.... That chair is in the dealership right? That chair is where the clients sit right? And most people sign contracts with their right hand right? You get Stoges to rub his pattootee on the right arm rest and them dang customers sign the contract no matter what the price. I'm gonna report you to the Abuse Of EBT Butt's Board.

A ham? Nah, how can you say that???
Look at this pic of him riding shotgun on my lap while Stoges_mom drives...
OK, maybe he's a bit of a ham, haha!

Here's some more Beef-Stoeger-Noff
Edit: There is eleven of them... but only 4 will post
He just graduated his first obedience class! I think he may have coerced the trainer into giving him the diploma with those kryptonite-eyes =:) @-)
Also, he just experienced his first Upstate, NY snowfall, he loves it!!!
We're going to reward his milestone with his own little Cornish Hen and sweet potatoes for Thanksgiving

I've got to shoot a vid of them working together, it's so impressive how much she has taught him in such a short time.
Sit, come, stay, down, leave it and eyes are all commands we can check off the list of things a good boy like Stoge can perform.
It's funny, our breeder said Stoges_mom would be the weak link in his training... Boy was he wrong!
Stogie says thanks Boyda & Leslie!

It's been an unbelievably long time since we've given a Stoeger update...
We wanted to let everyone know that our little muscleman has been doing great.
He is fresh off a vacation to Florida, where he loved playing in the sand and water.
Christmas break has been enjoyed on the treadmill and chewing his imported from England nylon chew toys.
I'll have to do some reading to get up to date on all my favorite Bullies!
