  Hey man Im new on the site but I can tell you know your stuff and love some Bullies!! Want your opinion and some pointers on my young pup Bronte.

  I am labeling him a rescue even though he came from a "breeder" and want to make sure I know as mush as possible about raising a great BT

  Hey philsergeant,
  You recently commented on my post. I just wanted to let you know that Leo is in good hands. He might spend 8 hours Monday through Thursday in my big restroom with the door open and a door fence but the rest of the time is devoted to Leo. I give him love, attention and training ever single day. Hope you can be more understanding and give me some serious advice instead of judging. Thanks.

    Joem, I'd really love to be more understanding if you demonstrated some sincere interest in understand the extent of the issue, and ( although I fully understand " judge not, lest yea be judged" ) ... I am judging because you just CANNOT leave a 8 week old Bullie alone for 8 Hours on ONE day, let alone 4 days a week unless you fully accept the consequences thereof. You will end up with a very dysfunctional and unhappy dog. You may have brought up, or have witnessed other breeds of dogs being treated this way and I have not.... Because for forty years I have brought up multiple litters of EBTs and have had thousands of exchanges with hundreds of EBT owners and am certain it will not end well. If you want to absorb advise I am eagerly willing to suspend the judgement and join my fellow moderators in helping you as much as possible.

  Was wondering your thought on collars or harness?

    If your dog is a puller, you need a pinch collar.... If he isn't then you could use a regular one when on short trips.... Or a harness for long walks.... If at home we never let them wear anything because it just wears away at the neck.

  Hello again my friend
  
  As you know I have a 9 year old miniature red bull terrier bitch and she has been suffering lately from a yeast infection on her belly (red rash) with hair loss and boils between her toes(furuncles). Yourself and other kind people have said that she has a yeast infection and recommended a grain free diet, washing her feet in epson salts, and getting the vet to prescribe Ketoconazole or FLUCONAZOLE. The vet howether did not agree with this view as I told you view and said it was an allergy and prescribed Prednidale. I have changed her diet, washed her feet in epsom salts, and rubbed coconut oil on these areas The rash has healed up now and also her toes are a lot better but she is losing loads of her under her back hind legs and between her inner thigh....it comes out in clumps but only her and not anywhere else on her????
  Can you offer any advice please????
