I'm just now finding out through the original owner and breeder of her dog "Claxxton" that he was never paid for. Danielle ripped him off. His name is Juan Lopez from Ca. I spoke with him for a while yesterday as he explained how disappointed he is that not only did she rip him off with his puppy but he provided stud service to one of her females. Due to her experience and/or neglect only one puppy survived. Juan provided her stud service with his stud "Silver." However, Danielle refusing to compensate Juan for stud services registered her stolen young dog Claxxton as the sire of the puppy. This puppy's name is "Rupert" which was sold to a friend of hers. Juan has been trying his best to convince Danielle to at least pay him for Claxxton but claims she is laughing at him. To make matters worse, 2 weeks ago Danielle send two of her friends to Juan's good friend who recently had a litter (Juan's Bloodlines) to purchase a puppy because Danielle knew she wouldn't be able to get it from him after ripping off Juan. Now Danielle has another puppy from this poor guys Bloodline named "Gus" and claims that Danielle is rubbing it in his face that she got the better of him again. Juan is very angry at Danielle and realizes his trust was taken advantage of and a very big mistake. Although Danielle obviously loves his dogs she finds it appropriate to slander him and his dogs on posts because he too is VERY angered with this evil person.
HOW COULD SOMEONE DO SUCH A THING???
The Bull Terrier community is small and the word gets around about people like this. I've always found it to be very unprofessional and bad ethics to speak poorly about others breeders. However, when the circumstances involve the welfare of the dogs and/or exploiting a true crook that's a menace to the breed than others need to be made aware.

However, when the circumstances involve the welfare of the dogs and/or exploiting a true crook that's a menace to the breed than others need to be made aware.

I intend to contact all relevant authorities in the state of Nevada and notify them of this woman's theft of Claxxton and her fraudulent procurement of Gus.
The story does not end there. This woman had a female Bull Terrier that required medical care. Instead of caring for the dog and getting her the medical attention she needed, she instead surrendered the dog to an animal rescue shelter and she was eventually euthanized.
Anyone considering having a loyal, faithful, companion like an English Bull Terrier should avoid Zerlett Kennels like the plague. She has absolutely no business being within 100 miles of a any dog."

She says it herself. It is all about her. Says she does not sale to the public but we know this is false. For someone to ask us the all most basic questions about breeding, whelping a litter, but is so high on her knowledge. Also says it clearly " Be cautious of those breeders who talk highly of themselves and low of others"-who is the one bashing Bullies Of NC and posting fictitious info about Puppy Mills on YouTube and Facebook? Our Bullies come first not us-they are fed before we eat, they go to the vet before we go to the doctor. I welcome anyone to come to my house or Steve's house, if you already haven't already and see the love and attention our family of Bullies get. While we may not have attended a lot of shows during the beginning years we were both active duty Marines and had other commitments to the country. We do not stack a show with our own Bullies just to try and get a Major.
We breed the Bullies for the love of the dog and to better the breed. We plan breeding years out. While we do sell our puppies to people, is that not the reason you breed? By the time you factor in all the costs from feeding, vets, medications, and everything else you sure don't do it to make a profit. You do it for the love of the breed, to better the breed and to let others love the breed. <?xml:namespace prefix = o />
Leslie - Oh, I truly agree with you. No need to be sorry for me though. She might be an annoyance with some of the ignorant harassment but it has no affect on me. Maybe having gone on deployments and having to deal with real enemies has taught me not to dwell on triveal hick-ups in life and to keep my distance from those who don't possess the qualities to project happiness and instead choose to be confrontational.
Earlier you mentioned Danielle's story about Bowzer a little difficult to understand her decision to put him down. I too found that whole situation very disturbing and even more so when I found it later to be highly exaggerated by Danielle. It doesn't exactly sound like a dog that required the death sentence a couple weeks later does it? That whole incident breaks my heart.
Within the last year Danielle has focused her attention on the joys of showing her dogs. What many people don't realize is there are many states that mandate that all breeders have to show their dogs. If they don't, they can no longer breed. Well Nevada is one of those states. So Danielle has no choice. All judges as well as the public and other breeders get to view the health, temperament, and quality of her dogs. Well what do you do if you have a dog that can't be shown because of dog aggression issues? What about if you have another one that requires medical attention that you can't afford to keep up with?
Well we all know what her decision was and it is that type of moral character that I have a problem with. Now that she stole Claxxton from a breeder in Ca (Juan Lopez) who's whole family is devastated, she can start over with another dog. Speaking to Juan broke my heart hearing how upset he was not just because Danielle never paid him for Claxxton or providing him with a puppy exchange but because he provided her with stud service expecting a puppy from that litter. The worst part about it is that Danielle laughs at him when he attempts to have her correct the situation by at least paying for Claxxton.
Yes, this whole thing is sad but for the good of the breed acknowledgment of corruption to AKC
bloodlines, theft, and historical records of the fate of her past "Loved" Bullie companions warrant the attention of others that "Love" and respect the breed.

When Danielle told me about Bowzer she explained him to be some kind of monster that may very need to be put down. Those were obviously lies and used only to mask her intentions to put him down for unnecessary reasons.

Danielle knows AKC and others are coming after her with disgust for all her wrong doings. This is probably why she got rip of Claxxton and gave Rupert to one of her friends.
Once Rupert DNA comes back his AKC pedigree will be voided and Danielle will most likely be banned from AKC due to her malicious intent.
Everybody in the Bull Terrier community has been made aware of Danielle's wrong doings with her dogs she put down, the theft of Claxxton, the wrongful claim of stud service, and the corruption of pedigree she's conducted within AKC.
Sadly she utilized a couple of her friends to pose as loving owners to purchase another puppy from Juan's friend who share the same bloodline and then provide Danielle with the puppy.
She's a very demented little girl with no consideration for others and definitely cares nothing about the breed. She doesn't deserve to raise any kind of animal. She's a sick person.
