Will do! That one says she is good with kids and she's a pup and small which josh did mention however Lucy is og interest to, but her temperment needs looked into. A 7 yr. Old would be diffrent than a 1 yr old kid for her put up with depending on her issues. My guess is this lady doesn't have a clue about bts..

I might be a little overcautious having had all the trouble with brutus. I would like to find him a Cleo totally submissive and sweet like sugar and great with all walks of life exept for the june bugs she eats under the light at night!!!!!!

I just sent an email about lucy to try to get more info. Am waiting to here back.......the one in Ny sounds perfect but how would we get her from NY to IN.
Your actions speak so loudly I cannot hear your words.
Gypsy the BT in NY is very nice looking BT...being that she like being around a 4yr old. I wish she was closer to IN. Anybody know anything about her? Wonder why her owner is letting her go?
Would you be willing to email them and find out if the foster would be willing to ship, what the fee for her is if any, and if they want her to stay in the area or would work with us on getting her to you. I would also ask some training quedtions and dig around a little on her. Be prepared to be grilled yoursrlf as some are very strict who gets to adopt. I'm working on an idea to get her to me as a friend of mines brother is a truck driver and lives in NY. If he could get her here could you come as far as Grand Rapids MI?? I could enquire but she's gonna live with you and if their a good rescue they will want to talk to who's gonna actually adopt this dog, I would and I would certainly be leary of this overall situation as they may be as well......

I haven't heard anything on Lucy, maybe tommorrow. I emailed them this morning. Josh have you had any cobtact with gypsys foster??? I even like that name!!

I can meet you at the ramp of 131N and 46 and meet Josh with her as you will be an hour and 20min. From my house 30 min at that corner. If he can get this dog and the foster is willing to let her go under these circumstances I think were in good shape!! Make sure your cautious as we don't know at this point she's had her shots ect. I would certanly not want a spead of anything as steve mentioned. All their is left is waiting to see if Josh can convince them to let her go!!!!! Choo choo!!!! It does say her shots are up to date but proof would be good.

Well I was really just curious what questions you think would be best to ask that foster of Gypsys in NY? But Ive already emailed her(Kelly). And also if its not too much to ask, if if its possible you also could maybe email her too for me? If not, no biggie
I will try and call her theirs a number as well. I would try to find out as much as you can about this dogs temperment, health, meds she might be on, hearworm tested or not. How long theve had her, skin conditions what kind of food she's on, and so on. I would want a prety hood picture painted as its uncommon for a BT to just be abandoned as their rare and expensive. I will c what I can come up with. I just want you to be comfotable with this choice and able to afford her if she does have any current issues which I will not beable to answer some of those questions if she askes me. How would you like her to contact you if she needs to???

Just documented vaccination records. Most shelters really don't spend time with the dogs and can't provide any authentic description of their temperament and character.

If you folks cannot get the vehicle transport worked out between all of you please let me know. Otherwise I'm just gonna sit on the sidelines and see what happens.
Xtracho - Thanks we certainly will! Their are 3 minis for adoption as well in Ann Arbor and some how Lucky from FL. Is now posted in MI. ??? No reply on either dog thus far.....

As rare as Mini BT's are I can almost guarantee the others to be small frail standard Bullies that may be claimed to be Mini's but they're not. I wish I had a nickle for every time I seen people calling a small standard BT a Mini. Mini's are quite costly too. You see many AKC Mini BT's costing $3000+. Normally the people who purchase a dog of this caliber are dedicated to raising one and in the event they have no option but to find it a home they have a long list of people who would be wanting the dog. Forfeiting a Mini or even a well bred standard is actually pretty rare.

Ugggg. I stay away from Petfinder, NextdayPets, PuppyFinder, Pet4You, etc. Those are all the 3rd party websites that the puppymills and backyard breeders use. I'll check out petfinder for Mini's since you asked though.

Oh Petfinder is for adoptions. I got petfinder mixed up with puppyfinder. I ran a search for Mini Bull Terriers and none came up. Could be because I had to put my location in. There's no BT's available for adoption around here.

We'd certainly help best we could, especially if the foster was willing to get the dog up near Albany from Staten Island.
