I guess you could use that logic every time someone breeds one type of purebred dog to another totally different type of purebred dog. With any mixed breed or mutt you will get a combination of good and bad qualities. I guess it's just a gamble when breeding is conducted in this manner. One thing for sure though, this is not the manner of breeding that's commendable by those that wish to breed to the "standards" of the breed in order to maintain and/or improve the qualities of the breed itself. In fact this method of breeding only hurts the breed and damages the bloodlines. There's good reason why AKC wouldn't register a litter of puppies bred in this fashion and call them a "Pure Bred."

There is a member of the Barbary Coast Bull Terrier Club who is a MEBT breeder and I asked her two questions, do they have mini clubs and is there a difference in temperament. First she said she is apart of the mini club, but just likes this one better, so she hangs out here! lol! And the temperament is just the same as a standard. The downfall to breeding the two is as exactly as Steve mentioned above.. Some things you should be concerned about are the overall health of both the parents and the pups. Typically most pups bred in this situation are not in great overall health and I doubt that he has been health tested, or that his parents are. The biggest red flag to me is the mother. She does not carry the correct eyes of the Bull Terrier and it looks like her snout does not carry the correct curve, but again it could be the angle. I have no issues with mixed breeds, I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and have been lucky enough to foster a few under my roof, I'm just hoping you didn't get ripped off and these are some things you should be aware of. English Bull Terriers are pretty pricey, and the last thing you want to deal with is having forked over hard earned money over to an unethical breeder.
Is there only 2 puppies from the litter? I've only seen him by that red & white sibling. Show us a pic of the whole litter. I want to see the other colors of the puppies.

We were the same way when we were getting Stoeger! The last days were the hardest!! But then we were overwhelmed with excited at the time of pick up! Very exciting!
I think I missed the one where he was 7 weeks, 3 days and 5 hours old! The most documented Bullie in the world!!... Fabulous that you are in such anticipation! Like the best Christmas ever! Can't wait til you have him in your arms... Perhaps we'll get so more detailed information then! Love it! He looks great already.
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
