I have a 6 month Female Bullie, she seems skinny to me and its really hyperactive. I feel i need to change her diet she eats two and a half cups of DIAMOND dry food a day. I would like to get her starting on a new diet. May i please get a copy of this diet bernis@live.com Thank You
Welcome to the Forum Bernis! All Bullies are "hyperactive" at 6 months old, can you describe better her behaviour? How much does she weigh and can you upload some photos? Was she on Diamond when you got her from the Breeder, and how old was she then? Which Diamond? There are many, and from what I recall they were a terrible brand with multiple recalls, even spreading Salmonella to humans.... So I would probably look into another good Grain Free brand that is available in Mexico. Meanwhile there are many Threads on here discussing which brands and food combinations suit various dogs better. Type "nutrition" or "best food" in the search bar under the word "discussions" above and hit GO.
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
We just came from the vet for Bianca's last round of shots. She's 16 weeks as of yesterday and today her weight is 22.7 pounds. Is this an average weight? I'm not really concerned as she seems very healthy and active just curious as to what other bullys weigh at this age. I have been reading about the raw diet and see that it is not recommended until 6 months of age. What are all the benefits of the raw diet?
I need some tips on what to feed my 6 month baby. The previous owner fed her nothing but Purina come and get it which reading up on it seems to be horrible so I went out the past 3 months and have tried numerous of the high end foods and she wont eat them. I had had to go out and buy the purina food and she eats it . How can I stop her from eating that junk. I been adding what ever extra from my meals to her kibbles and she will eat. shes 6 months and want to bulk her up as well can you send me your recipe and I will try that
I get a lot of emails from people who want the weight gain recipes. In the event you have requested the recipes and I have not sent them please email me: steve@bulliesofnc.com

Hi Steve, please send me the diet as well. Im sure my boy, Kaizer will benefit from it. I was just a bit reluctant to attempt the raw food diet without a proven recipe due to salmonella poisoningand the like
This is Kaizer. He was about 12 months old here. Ive had him on Vets Brands (after Hills became too costly) and I used Bullymax for about 3 months. I never allow him to eat human food/table scraps (that visitors generally have a nasty habbit of just giving them). Sorry for the double post of the pic. Not sure how I did that (still new to this site). Thanx
Hi, my bully is 2 1/2 and only weighs 36 lbs. He is on a human diet of all organ meats with brown rice and vegetables, per advice of vet. He was on a raw diet for one year then we switched to a cooked meat one. He got really lean with no roundness to him. He gets 16oz. of food per meal, twice a day. He has medium size energy, its cold now. He had terrible allergies that is why we changed the diet, and it sure worked.
I feel he needs to be heavier, any advice would be helpful.
I recently put a link to a few raw meat recipes on my website due to having many people asking for them. There are also MANY other good recipes on the internet that can be found. I will try and add more and more recipes to the below link as I find them and get the time to conduct updates to the page.
