Thanks guys. This hot spot has not spread at all. It's only been that one single spot and all his other fur is nice, shiney and thicke. I believe a lot had to do with the previous collar he had. The fur is coming back so I'm not worried.
Actually I need to try that stuff and see how effective it is. Seems like now a days I Bag balm everything and most often get great results. However, I'm always up to trying something new.

I bag balm EVERTHING as well, me my husband and all my kids!!!! I can't find the creamy coconut oil its always runny. I still got a few places to check though.
Your actions speak so loudly I cannot hear your words.
Stoeger, You can't see them... but (and I am sure you NEVER do this), if you run your hand over the coat softly you'll feel them.... they start off really mild, they are tiny, like mini pimples, but if left they erupt, dry out and scab, when the small scab comes off it takes a half dozen hairs with it and you end up a "patchy area".... So break down and feel your dog! B-)
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
@Stoeger - If you keep your Bullie on that diet with those supplements in a few years you'll be saying "You know, I must have gotten lucky because my bullie has never had any skin issues."

@philsergeant when you use the coconut oil, does it leave your pups coat super soft and shinny? I'm looking for a deep conditioner and thought that might work well.

I think we will still keep a can of Bag-Balm and Coconut Oil handy just in case.
What he had looked like a pimple, it ended up scabbing over and looks to be on the mend.
Maybe a bug bite?
common' that's funny!
