Some of you may have seen this on Facebook. But I thought it fitting to post here as well. Arya, 6 months old, fell 3 stories off a deck last week. She fractured both front legs, shattered one of her front paws, and broke the ball joint left side of her hip. The surgery she required would cost over $5,000.00. Her owner reached out to the bullie community and in just 3 days over $2,800.00 was raised. That, along with an anonymous donation over $1,000.00, and her owner liquidating some assets, put them over the amount needed to save this tough little girl. Anyhow, without getting all smushy and gooey, I was touched by the outpouring of support from bullie owners all over the country. She now has her own Facebook page to track her progress if you're inclined...

Yes, I seen that the other day. I heard she raised the entire $5000 which paid for all her medical expenses.
No more jumping off 3 story balcony's!

Shame, poor thing!!! Glad they were supported, unanticipatible expenses are a pain in the arse!
(At least she will get a quick job at Cirque Du Soleil with that costum!)

She raised $2800 on gofundme.com in 3 days. Another anonymous donor called the vet with another $1000, and that together with her selling a boat to some relatives, she raised the money for the surgery.

Thank God that Maya has pet insurance!
