Trancing under my Xmas tree!

My bullie goes into a trance like state under our really Xmas tree but only under the tree... Wonder if its the feel of the pine needles on his fur? It's very strange he will walk all the way around the tree almost like he is on the prowl. Could anyone tell me if that is normal bullie behaviour?

Most Bullies trance under trees... Christmas trees are the best! I have EXACTLY that same picture... I'll see if I can dig it up.

It's so strange, they are special dogs aren't they? he does a sulk pose too, which is similar to "the trance" but he stair at the wall, it's normally after he's been told off! Lol I think I saw that picture... It was an another discussion I found after I started this one, oops! How many bullies do you have

Yeah, I can imagine its quite stressful and tiring. Gunner got castrated when we adopted him. He looked like a satellite dish with that plastic cone they have to wear after an op.

From what we read online it has something to do with their face. If you have a newborn baby and rub their face super soft, you know how their eyes kind of roll back in their heads? It's like that. LOL!! Go on YouTube and look up bull terrier trance. Some of the videos crack me up!

I wish we could get Maya stopped long enough to trance. That ain't gonna happen. She'd be more likely to eat the tree.
