Spud's Puppy Obedience School Graduation
Tonight is Spud's last class at his puppy obedience class he's been taking for close to two months now. So far the trainer has been training me on how to take care of him and he's done great so far. He's sleeping in the picture below and will be going to the dog park to she'd excess energy before he takes his final exam tonight, which s heeling and recall. I'll post pictures with his diploma late tonight.

I know Stoges_mom plans to enroll Stoeger in obedience classes.
Her ultimate goal is to concentrate on agility.
Hopefully she will be as successful in finding a good trainer as you were.
Leslie you need to change it up and use Ketchup or better yet Salsa. It goes better.
Stage 2 is basically the puppy obedience class minus the socialization with an accelerated program and outdoor training. Basically touching up on the sit, lie down, stay, heel and recall with introduction to longer hold times and agility basics.
Has anyone else had any luck with trainers in their area and any feedback on what to do next?
Soapskid! Don't listen to that person who has doubts! Go for it!!!! I have had "rough/tough" dogs here that others gave up on while in the system and I got them to foster. No one thought some of these dogs could even be a good pet/companion much less gain a title. Sent some of them on to their forever homes with their CGC!
The more to do these things with him the stronger your bond and the more you understand each other.
You and Spud will have a blast! Saddle UP! LOL Sonja & Pumba, my tripod boy and yes, he has his CGC too!
