Bald Spot?

Spud got a bald spot on his neck near his collar about 1 inch in diameter. My trainer noticed it and I thought this whole time it was leash burn but I since changed to a harness. But my trainer said it looks more like an allergic reaction. There are no bumps or any signs of bites so I'm not sure what it is. Spuds sleeping right now but I'll take pics in the morning to post.

Does anyone have recommendations on how to properly take care of it? The hair is growing back slowly but I want to make sure it doesn't get worse. Also, the salmon oil is really helping his coat.

That type of spot typically has the harbinger of a bump, that turns into a scab, and finally falls/ flakes off to leave a bald spot.... I would constantly feel "under" his coat for any bumps on the skin on a routine basis.... if any bumps develop I'd rub the area with coconut oil every day or two... Marco had a couple of bumps/ scabs and I caught them late, and now he has small bald spots... a few others I caught early and coconutted them, now all smooth.
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
