Little Bear- Pimples and Tartar build up
Alright, so Bear is 6 months now and has been breaking out with pimples around his lips for the last month. Doesn't seem contagious as the rest of the pack is fine. Is this common in bull terrier puppies?
My main concern is that he has had funky puppy breath since he has starting teething (his teeth have just finished coming in) and I noticed he already has some tartar build on his back molars. I've never seen a puppy with tartar and I was wondering if that could signal any health issues?
Tomorrow I'll be starting a teeth brushing regimen with him.
He eats dry puppy kibble (Blue Buffalo Wilderness) and chews on nylabones/rubber kongs daily.

I've never seen them myself so can't help.
For the tartar try deer antlers or those porous bones that they love to chew with their back teeth... I never had much joy with the Nyla bones or Kongs... The Nyla either are soft and they demolish or too plasticky and they get bored... The Kongs they never touch... Also the dental ropes, especially if you have two for tugs... They both look great... You shoulda called them Ebony and Ivory!
