You shouldn't have any problems since the young puppy won't be showing any dominance issues or true aggression. Unless the older male has serious aggression issues he'll realize the other dog is a young puppy which poses no threat and has no interest in competing to be the alpha male. Naturally, keep an eye on the two and supervise them. There may be times when you need to calm their play with each other so the excitement doesn't get carried away.

Yeah. Same way that he probably nips you unwittingly and playfully, he may nip the older dog out of excitement and, if the big boy's not used to puppy nonsense he may misinterpret it... So watch to make sure "The Depp" doesn't get carried away.
