We have a great trainer out where I live who is afforadable and Spud's only done three weeks so far and is responding well. After that we will likely see the same trainer once a month until next summer then look into agility once he's 1.5 years.
He's getting a lawn installed this week with a fence so he can play out in the yard. We had fill rocks since we live in a hot area but are installing about 700 square feet of sod that I've checked thoroughly and seen in person for high traffic and pets so it should be ok. I'm thinking about placing artificial grass in one corner at about 3x3 feet next to rocks where he can potty.
I'll update with pics soon with before and after especially with Spuds new play area.
I got a towel with cold water and put it over his arm but all he kept dong was trying to nip at it. I had it on for a few minutes then checked his leg again and it seemed fine. I put him down and he was walking normal again. This worries me a lot but everything has been fine for the last 2 hours until he fell asleep.
Should I tape his leg up to keep it straight? After when he was having water or was going number 1 he was fine.
If you wrap his foot he's likely to bite off whatever you put on him unless you use a head cone. I'd keep a close eye on him tomorrow and if he's still limping on it I'd have it x-rayed.
