If taste of the wild and certain grain free dog/puppy food provides salmon oil what's the point in buying the supplements such as grizzly salmon oil ?

    Many of the dry foods do contain salmon. Obviously it's dried but does contain much of the protein and nutritional value coming from salmon. However, it's the omega 3 that comes from the oil itself that the Grizzly Oil concentrates on. No dry food contains the omegas of Grizzly Oil or other Fish Oils designed specifically for providing the omega 3 dogs benefit greatly from.

    Especially if you live in warmer climes, BT's can have coat/ skin issues, and omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA keep the coat/ skin supplemented . ( also good for joints)

    Hi, just reading here, and have a question.  Does the Omega have to be specifically made for dogs, or can I just give Buck the same brand of Omegas that my son& I take daily?

    You can, but us humans might feel that an omega oil capsule or two helps our health, perhaps it does, but we don't have a coat... A bully needs about 3/4 tablespoon of salmon oil per day.... So that's an expensive lot of human capsules.

    I don't think you will like the taste (I can remember when my mom gave us all cod liver oil for just about every ailment when we were kids,,... nearly gagged every time)..... But you'll be sure to grow a neat coat

    Can a BTs nose be nice and pink???? Just curious as their only pink here for the second after their bath head straight outside and root in dirt like pigs and roll in dead grass!!!!!!

    Hey guys! How lucky I am to find this forum!  Can you good people give me a dosage of fish oil by Bully Weight (so much per pound?)please?  After reading this thread I think I may be seriously underdosing even my ACD Pumba. So, I'm wondering if the Bully as a breed needs more fish oil per pound that other breeds.
