Big is better, I mean any BT is better than no BT, but if you want small, chihuahua's are cool ( not )! :-\" ( sorry mini BT lovers.... I have heard they are really special... down there) =(( :bz
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
Mini's are soo cute. But most bull terrier breeders consider them to be a whole different breed, and not even close to the same as a standard. When you see a standard next to a mini, its pretty remarkable, a mini looks like a 3 month old standard puppy! I heard mini's can be more energetic and agile. Some people say they are more crazy than standards, while others say they are more sane. All the ones I met just reminded me of a smaller version, but all sweet and they seemed more calm to me.
NO lol I don't think Albert is smart enough to be related lol my stepdaughter that passed away a year ago always wanted me to name a boy Newton if I had one. we rescued Albert last year and I named him Newton as a middlename because of Alexandrias wish
Whom ever said diamonds are a girls best friend never had a Bullterrier
thank you so much and yes lots to learn. Albert is our first EBT, we had two pitbull girls that got to be 8 and 10 so we have lots of experience with dogs but nothing prepared us for this little quirky bundle of joy we rescued from Delta PA so I couldn't think of a better place to get educated and get pointers than a forum full of loving and experienced EBT owners. Oh and Albert will be moving with us to Sweden. I am a Swede that married a American and Im ready to go home after 13 years so Im taking my bully and hubby and going home

A great thing you did by rescueing such a handsome guy! Mini or no....your life will forever be enriched by his presence. My respect and hat off to you for your caring enough to rescue him!
and you are absolutely correct...nothing has been the same since lil big head came into our lives. Albert was 17 months when we rescued him and I think that's been the biggest part to work on...his bad habits and lack of socializing with other dogs...but hey I feel a lot more confident with this forum in my corner
:-bd

I have a mini, and that's all I ever had. But I am grateful for his size since me and my partner live in an apartment. Never owned such a muscular dog before him, he is a one powerful little guy. I like him being a manageable size. I can pick him up if need be.

Love him to death!!
Being that our other dogs are Poms, I'm leaning towards a mini when my 15yr old male passes. We'll see...
