Kolohe has been fading quickly over the last couple weeks. This last 5 days I've had to carry her outside to use the bathroom and carry her back inside and place her back on her comfortable doggie bed. Yesterday morning when I carried her outside she refused to stand. I tried 3 more times during the day but she refused to move. She stopped eating and even drinking. I knew she was dying and I was crushed but she remained peaceful and calm throughout the day. At 8:30 last night I tried to put water in her mouth by hand but she didn't want it. She could barely lift her head. My wife,Julie, sat with her on her doggie bed petting her and talking to her. My heart was aching because I knew what was happening. 30 minutes later at around 9:00 pm she closed her eyes and stopped breathing. Julie cried out and my heart dropped. We lost the most loyal and faithful dog in the world who would have given her life to protect us. She was a guardian and a gladiator. She was a truly awesome Bull Terrier. I just returned a few hours ago from burying her out back. I pray she is running free in the heavens full of energy and spunk like she had in her youth. There's a hole in my heart now that hurts more than I can explain but I know I will see her again one day.

Kolohe you provided us with almost 13 years of unconditional love and loyalty like no other dog. Rest in Peace Baby Girl. This tribute is for you.
