Obsessive humper

I just re homed a beautiful 1yr old bull terrier! Very energetic (of course) and loving. We already owned a 6yr pit who is the sweetest (non alpha) who gets along with anyone or anything. New bull terrier is obsessed with 6yr old pit, like none stop obsessed and won't stop humping, or licking mouth, privates or pee. No break at all unless I separate or go on walks. I am pretty sure new bully has never been socialized. My pit tries to hand him a rope and teach him to play but immediately goes to hump. He is not neutered but I have an appointment in 2days. I feel bad for the guy cause he's so excited but doesn't know how react. He will go for 6yrs of humping and I am constantly pushing him off and saying no. So I know getting him neutered will help a certain %, but any recommendations for that humpy behavior precedes? oh and my pit will not ever nip back he just takes it and gets tired. There is no biting or snipping between them. Both seem to like each other.

Humping is more often than not an act of dominance vice an  act of wanting to mate. He's at an age where he's reaching maturity and has no idea what is and what isn't appropriate behavior. Dog, both male and female, which have been neutered and spayed have been known to hump another dog also. I only mention this because surgically removing his sex organs may not be the solution to correcting his dominant behavior. However, with proper training and more time for him to mature with age you will see this behavior improve and eventually stop.

Agreed... don't jump on the neutering... read and watch a bunch of good posts on here covering that subject.... with love and discipline you can correct the problem...neutering will just worsten it
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
