If he is 8/9 weeks old: a] you should only have gotten him yesterday
b] I don't think I every weighed a dog that young
c] at that age, current weight would be absolutely no indication of anything at all.
A photo or two would give us a better idea of how well developed he is and what potential he had {weigh wise}.... Even better still some photos of his mum & dad.... But a weight number is worthless in itself at his age. Photos please.
