Hello everyone! I'm a new bull terrier owner!! I got this puppy about 2 months ago from I guess now I would call a back yard breeder!!! But I'm glad I got the pup now as he will have a great home with my family!!! I was wondering if u can tell me if he looks full blooded and what color he would be called? Never seen the parents in person just pics! Any help or info would be great! He was on puppy chow when I got him but now after reading about bull terriers I have switched him to Blue wilderness for puppies! Here are some pics!!! If you need better pics let me know and I can take some thanks for this site and all of your help!!!

First, Welcome... Great to have you here... I'd say he is not full bred, but he sure has a lot of EBT characteristics and he sure is cute... It's going to take a lot of work to get those huge ears up, I'd imagine, but he will be very handsome when they are. For two months he is really big already and he looks to have a great coat .. He looks to be a red & white, but Steve'll give you a better classification. He looks like he is in for a wonderful life with much love, which is what all Bullies crave!

  • Oh I was hoping he was full blooded! I paid full blooded price! I never seen the parents just pics! But I did see the grand dad which he was brindle! But even if he's not full blooded we love him anyways! Just will suck on the money part! Mo also had health issues when we first got him worms of course!! And had real bad diarrhea which we got fixed up with some meds finally! So no diarrhea for a week and a half now!!! Any advise on the breed is much appreciated!! Avian thanks for the help and info!
  • Oh yeah Mo will be 13 weeks this month!!

Cute puppy, but definitely not pure blooded. That's sad to hear the breeder claimed him to be a pure blood Bull Terrier and charge you for the cost of one knowing he was a cross breed. Right now as a puppy it might be harder for you and others to tell but as he matures you'll have no difficulty telling. Additionally, based on how huge his ears are the chances of them ever standing are slim. He looks like a cross between a Bull Terrier and an APBT based on the head shape, eyes, muzzle, ears, and structure. I still think he's a cute puppy which will surely become a great companion but he should have been provided to you at a reasonable "adoption" price.

  • Yeah that sucks! And of course the breeder swears that he is full blooded! And will not return my calls! But I guess that is what I get for not using a reputable breeder!!!! But Mojo is really a great pup! And we love him either way! Thanks for the help! Guess I need to look into a pit bull site since he is not a bull terrier? Or can I stay on this site?

You and Mo belong right here among the rest of us who love and care for our bull terriers with pride and passion. Mo doesn't have to be 100% Bull Terrier in order to have just as much pride as everybody does with their Bull Terrier. He looks just fine and we welcome you here.

If you really want to know exactly what Mo is crossed with or have a professional review you could always conduct a DNA Test on him which will tell you everything and leave you without any shadow of doubt.

We love Pit-Bulls too, but we would be very offended if you took our Bullie Mojo to another site!!!!

I would give the ears a try... Lots of cottage cheese and Knox Gelatin... And taping if they show signs of promise.... It would be fabulous if you can get those beauties to stand, and I think you have got a shot... He looks very healthy... And he would look terrific with erect ears!!

Good news on the first ear, he will be VERY handsome if they can both stay up.
