Having trouble with ears

Brutus is 17 weeks old. I have taped his ears a couple of times only to have his right ear fall a couple of days later. It was easy to tape his ears and keep the tape on when he was small and at 2 months old, but now he rips that tape up in a matter of hours. Brutus has also been getting Knox gelatin sprinkled over his food almost every day once a day for quite some time now. Let me just say that if his ear doesn't happen to go up then I will not love him any less. With that being said, does anyone have any experience with this and possibly success? I know occasionally the ears stand on their own. I guess that is what I am hoping to hear from y'all! Attached is a recent photo to show where his ears are at.

Type "bridge" in the GO search above and look for the bridge method of taping the one ear to another... That may not bother him that much

Here's a photo of Phil's method which should work well since the ear is almost up but just needs a little help.
