Whose bull terrier trances?

I seen rocco trancing under a tree the other day and wondered who elses dog does or doesnt do it. I had one years ago that done it and another dog after that dog that never done it and now rocco is doing it. So not all bullies do it.

Simple answer. They all do. How would you expect a superior being to connect to " the other side " every now and then???

She is just far too active to show such spiritual and ruminant behaviors. She is hardly able to find a rest.
But she'll probably get there eventually.

Bianca does! The first time she did it my husband was out with her and she did it under a pot of petunias that were spilling over the pot. He thought she ate one and was having some sort of reaction. Now she does it VERY often. There is a fern plant that is her favorite and ivy that grows on the wall that she just loves to trance under. It is so interesting to watch her i often wonder what she is thinking or if she is just enjoying the tickling feeling the bushes give her

Not every Bull Terrier trances and only certain things will trigger it. The trancing has been researched for years and to date there's still no explanation for it. It has nothing to do with energy level either. I have Bullies that will go for broke all day long but if they get into the right setting with the trigger to set them in a trance they will enjoy the opportunity. To be honest, if we had never had a real Christmas Tree set up in our house during the holiday season I would be telling you all that Deuce (seen in the video above) does NOT trance. The only time I have ever seen her do it is when I bring in a Christmas tree during the holidays. I guess it's an annual thing for her.

We have a row of trees along side our house. As soon as Puma gets close she goes into her trance, every time.

I had no idea ... We have a giant Boston fern and a giant stag horn fern Mackenzie will walk up under all the frons and just stand there . Now I know what she is doing )

Christams trees are their best but they love all folliage... when we do yard work they can just shuffle around under all the bushes enjoying themselves and shuddering now and then!

I guess it reminds them of the wonderful times when they were creatures in the wild and they were hanging out hiding from the curse of human beings!!! No, kidding, I believe in truth, for the most part, they love their lives with humans... but still miss their lives in the wild.

Wow that's so crazy I never knew what it was and Chico does it every single time he walks through our bush in the yard I thought he was peeing until I walked up to him and he wasnt peeing lol and now I realized he does it alot!
