Photos please.... Typically a Bullie is pretty heavy on his paws, if his nails are not trimmed back they will force the paw pad to slant sideways which often causes callouses on the dragging side , and the nails to be sharp on the one side... Good nail maintenance is very important and constant and thorough nail trimming is vital... ( although easier said than done)
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.

Are you referring to his "Patern" ?
    If so, this is genetic.

  • Does that change with age? Or it it the same over the entire life span.

It can get worse with age but if the pasterns are correct from birth it will not become a problem with age.
German Shepard's have a bad problem with this area (as well as many others) due to the poor breeding over the years conducted here in the states.
