Hi as many of you know I have a mostly white puppy I was just wondering as he grows and fills out as the weeks go by I can see more pink from his skin coming through on his body etc is this normal since he is white

How is his coat doing? Is it getting thicker or thinner? How old is he again? Is it showing pink in any particular area, more than another? Is he spending much time in the sun?

In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
  • He's 13 weeks old now generally coat is ok just a bit thin maybe on middle of back as he grows and gets wider also maybe on tail plus I live in Scotland so no sun really lol

    Not too warm either :-(
Their coat thins somewhat in warmer climes, but it sounds like he needs some "coat enhancers", what's his full diet? What supplements is he receiving (Grizzly Oil etc.)?  I'd watch the tail, if he develops thinning areas you might be developing hot spots and should look out for the cause.

  • Diet mostly consists of raw chicken tripe beef mostly minced with 10/15% bone with roughly 10% offal and 10% veg etc was told he was young to bother to much with grizzly oil or omegas etc but I can pick it up cause it wouldn't do any harm to add it also I have coconut oil in house I could add that to his meals could I if so how much and also is coconut oil good to rub directly on to his coat
  • My dog had terrible thinnning of the fur when I got him at 14 weeks old had hot spots thinning went from neck to tail I gave him coconut oil in food and rubbed into skin also got denes sulphur drops that u put into food all natural products u can get them off amazon with in weeks he's fur has grown back fantastic had him on cod liver oil but have changed to grizzly salmon oil.

There not like any other dog I have had before in so many ways full of fire and passion (in a good way) for such a young dog not the easiest to train but lol
  • I have had breeds from German shepards rottweiler staffs jack Russell etc but I have found my EBT the hardest of all I'm no bully expert at all but when I say hard work stubborn I say it with my hands on my head pulling my hair out maybe I didn't know enough about the breed to start with but I love her with all my heart and wouldn't change her for the world at 2 she is still a stubborn missy but she's getting better slowly I have a 21 week old staff cross lab he's the easiest dog I've ever trained and he shows sophie up even when she runs off when she comes back he will tell her off as if to say u naughty girl u didn't come back when mummy said to but by god they r such a fun breed she's great with all dogs kids people starting to get protective of me when people come towards me on a lead but I think that's good she warns I think lol I call her big balls even thow she's a girl ha ha makes her fill big .
  • They are hard at times but hopefully all the work will pay off at some point or maybe not lol
  • Off subject but woke up this morning to a nice set of ears lol lol

Roman, now you have to put a weight on his tail, 'cause if he flaps those ears he will take off.!!
