    Dear "Super-Excited",
And we are, all of us, extra super-excited along with you because we have all been in those "any-day-now" situations, and we know what joy (and tears) bringing up a new EBT brings and how much they enrich your life.  You are going to need to read pages and pages here because all the answers you need are right here... on this FREE website.
You need find out what food she was on at the breeder, get a little, and wean her off onto a good eating mix. A good grain-free kibble will be your base, coupled with some good (grain-free) canned wet food... for a couple of months.  Then you can start to add things like veggies, eggs, and eventually raw meat (but all slowly, and not all at once). You'll start off at three small meals a day, then, at perhaps 6/7 months,2 per day and eventually one main meal and one short meal.
You'll need a crate for her to be in at night or whenever she is unattended. Don't get one too small otherwise you'll soon be using it as a mouse trap in the garage, (the biggest one you can afford, 'cause they're not cheap... I like the all metal ones, easier to keep clean than the plastic ones) Those "pee-pads" are good to train her to go during the day, but obviously you should take her outside frequently until she gets the drift... but if you put her on the pee pad every time she starts an accident because it will take her time to learn to hold it until she's on grass.   Plenty of exercise, get her used to walking early. and, needless to say, you'll find that if you don't smother EBT's with tons of kisses all day they miraculously just disappear in a puff of smoke.  I hope she is 8 weeks this weekend because a good breeder wouldn't let her leave the litter before she's 8.  Then find a good vet, as you'll need one (Good is about 1 in 50, excellent about 1 in 500), so happy hunting... Other than that, happy reading, and you'll find you can't get on the site pretty soon if we don't see photos.  Good luck, enjoy and keep writing ... Welcome from everyone!!!!!
Oh! P.S. Read lots about disciplining... Bullies have a little, loveable devil inside each one.

  • How exciting,I'm no expert at all,I'm a first time bullie owner, into my 9th month with my little treasure.i can only agree with philsergeeant and his advice.also consistency is the key.be consistantly tough with unwanted behaviour and just when you think the pup will never listen they do! All of a sudden they just start to ''get it'' then you'll have the most loving loyal friend ever.ive had other dogs but bullies are just special.
