Staining on his chest EBT

hi there I'm new to this. But my 17month old english bull terrier has started to form a brown stained skin on his chest. He lives with a 3 year old jack Russell. Get on like an house on fire.
Please help.

    Is he belly rubbing on something? Our boy loves to belly rub on a sisal carpet we have and he gets chest burn every now and then... it looks like they are rubbing their belly when they crawl, but actually the chest takes a lot of the friction?
    In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
