My Bully is no longer a wimp
Just a follow up to a previous thread, when I was worried that Murphy was just too passive around the other dogs at the dog park. Many of you suggested that she just need to mature a bit, and you were right. She is now almost 14 months old and has really come out of her shell. I'm convinced it was because she actually met another bull terrier at dog school, she has been a different dog ever since.
Now at the dog park, she seeks out an appropriate-sized playmate (usually a puppy) and proceeds to wrestle and even chase a bit. She still submits right when we arrive, especially if the other dogs take notice of the new arrival and approach as a pack. She'll go right onto her belly, ears back. But perks up quickly and now joins in the fun. Where she used to only approach humans, she now splits her time between people and dogs, and yesterday did not want to leave as she was having so much fun with her new friend.
So thanks, everyone, for your reassurance! Here's her "mug shots" from this weekend. (look at that "six-pack!")

It's good to hear she's gaining her confidence, doing well, and having fun playing with other dogs.

I'll take a picture of Isabella sitting like that, then you'll know what a six pack looks like... I'd take a picture of Marco in the same pose... but you don't want to see that!

I often sit around and wonder what I did before I had Quinn. I'm not really sure. Maybe school or something dull and unimportant.
