The Loyalty of a Bull Terrier

I'm sure that Bullie is very depressed as would most Bull Terriers that had a loving and close relationship with their owner. What saddens me is that despite how good of a shelter he may be at, the fact that there are many other dogs around barking and showing signs of anxiety, which is the norm at shelters, it's only adding to the depression. He needs someone that can give him the one on one attention and affection he longs for. Away from the chaos of a shelter with multiple staff members and amped up dogs surrounding him. He can get over this depression if adopted and taken in by someone that can provide him the love and attention he needs right now. Ideally, another male owner that could be with him throughout the day and slowly transition him back into the loyal loving and Happy dog he certainly was. This would be my opinion for the best solution for this broken hearted Bullie.

I don't know if it's true or not, but there are a couple of recent comments that Animal Control was able to place him with the family of his deceased owner.  I certainly hope so.

I can surely attest to the conditions of shelters. We boarded Maya and Bear for 5 days while at Disney World. Never, ever again. They were both two totally different dogs when we picked them up and it took at least 2 weeks before they were able to decompress and get back to normal again. A very sad story indeed for this loyal, loving bull terrier. My heart breaks for him.
