My Lady broke her leg

Yesterday we played her favourite game and my 4yr old female jumped in the air and when she landed she broke her hind leg. She is having an operation today to insert a steel rod into her leg. I was broken hearted to leave her there but tonight I will be grovelling for forgiveness

Oh Noooo. I'm so sorry to hear this. Bull Terriers are often a glutton for their own punishment but normally they're so resilient they escape from injury. Wish it were true all the time but no Bull Terrier is invincible. I wish your Bullie a speedy recovery. Please keep us posted on her progress.

She us at home and starting the recovery process. She is very sore and sleeping. Hoping she feels better tomorrow after all the meds have worn off. She looks so bewildered. Heartbreaking

We have been through the exact same thing, at 10 months of age sadly. Jumped in the air for a ball, landed wrong and broke her back right. She screamed something awful...one of the worst days of my life. She had surgery the following morning (steel plate, 5 screws; plus a pin and wire for another fracture at the top of her tibia) and came out when we picked her up trying to walk on it, daft girl! The recovery is the hardest... But when she's back to 100% it'll be like it never happened!

My apologies. She rebroke te leg about 3 weeks ago and had another op to remove pin and insert steel plate so recovery starting over
