NOLA BT
Well, Rodney has really adapted to the Big Easy. A few nights ago, he finally noticed the roaches scattering across the sidewalks on his nightly walk. Instead of biting or chasing, he simply smashed it with his paw and carried on with the walk like it was what one does in NOLA. The fog horns on the Mississippi at night, the train whistles (The City of New Orleans a couple of times a day), bounce music...all sorts of sights and sounds, he's used to all of it. His first crawfish boil hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure he'll look like a pro when it happens.

He's getting more antagonistic towards the roaches. He's stopping and going out of his way to squish them now. NOLA needs more dogs like him. The fear right now are the stinging caterpillars that fall from the oak trees around this time of year. The roots of the oak trees are one of his favorite places to potty, lol, I don't know why, but it is.
