I have just noticed that Caesar has a crack on both of his front paws, they dont appear fresh and they dont appear to bebothering him at all. He had so many options as far as things to lay on and I am constantly encouraging him not to lay on tje concrete but its his chosen spot. What do I do now and how should I treat them?

where did you buy your bag balm?? I can't find it anywhere! Stella has one crack that I'd like to see get better.

Its not sold in Australia and its cost me a fortune to get some from overseas, I found some on ebay! I hope it arrives soon and it is good cuz nothing much else is working.

How many time s a day do you think I should apply? Its quite hard to get him to not walk around after I have appliec, unless im lucky enough to get him whole he is snoring.

Put it on whenever you have the opportunity. Spend the time to rub it in real well when you're applying it.

Typically I rub it on and in just before bedtime... Hopefully they are tired enough not to lick it all off and let it soak in overnight

I usually manage to get it applied twice a day, once during the day while he is sleeping and again prior to bed. The vet through a very thorough examination has discovered his dry pads are due to a zinc deficiency due to the high plant phytates in his grain free kibble. Hopefully now he is taking zinc supps, a change of dry kibble to Canidae grain free sea and some soon to arrive bag balm, ill have my fur child back to feeling a million dollars.
