introducing raw meat, fruits, and veggies?

I have a 10 week old male BT that is currently receiving blue buffalo puppy food. I am just curious as to when I can introduce raw meats, fruits, and veggies to my dog? I've been researching but haven't came across when exactly I can do so. I've just been finding that those are good for a BT diet. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks :)

Welcome Sam, ( fellow soccer fan)... I see this your first post, please stay in touch and give us some history and photos of your boy. Six months before raw.... The rest you can add gradually...cooked meats are good to start with... But add things slowly and try each thing out one at a time to make sure there are no adverse effects.... If you add a bunch of things one time and have a bad reaction you won't know what caused it.... 10 weeks you have a long time to go before a regular diet will be settled on so take your time.... I'm sure all Blue Buffalo is GF but just be sure.
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
  • what's everyone's favorite fruits and veggies to give their BT?
  • Quinn loved getting apple slices! Had to be careful how much I would give her a day though or it would give her soft poops. Bananas are also a favorite. Haven't fed her too many veggies, but she seems to like everything anyway. Hasn't turned one down yet. ;)

The quality of food for every Bull Terrier is going to vary depending on each dog. Like most of us, we will base the volume of food provided each day on the weight and look of the individual dog not the chart of the bag that tells you how much food to provide based on weight or what others tell you based on how much they provide their dog.
I know exactly what you mean by saying your Bullie seems to always want more. I have a few like that too but it's these type of Bull Terriers that can easily get over weight if you're not careful because they always seem to have a large appetite regardless how much you feed them.
Simply portion the food for your Bull Terrier based on her age, energy level, and how she physically looks. Yes, she may want more food and continue to eat every chance she can get but it's you that keeps her weight management at an appropriate mark.
