Isis and Lucian's litter has arrived.

Isis has had her litter on 6 March.  Started @320 AM (sure wish they would come during the day).  She gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies.  3 girls and 2 boys. This being Isis's last litter we have chosen Girl 1.  Bullies of NC's Xena Warrior Princess. Been a long couple of days but mother and puppies are doing great.  Here are few photos from whelping yesterday.  B1, B2, Xena, G2, G3.  Will post some more photos soon.

Thank you all.  Isis has the softest mouth of any EBT I have seen, or should I say hand fed.  She also has a super soft coat.  My wife says she is her big teddy bear.  She is doing very well with the puppies.  Only problem is she does not let them out of her sight.  Will be tough to get week 1 photos but i will post them somehow.

Their homes have all been found since they were born. Now the owners will be sent hundreds of photos and videos each week until they are 8 weeks old. Kind of nice that the owners are a part of watching their puppy grow and progress since the first day they were born.

The last litter Julie and I had here was born in September of last year. (The litter that Nitress came from.)

I sure miss seeing little puppies running around.

I'm happy they decided to keep a puppy from this litter not because this will be Isis's last litter but because they are great looking Bullies!
It will be interesting to see Xena grow and progress into a gorgeous adult.

Those are some of the most beautiful puppies ever.  Isis and Lucian make some gorgeous little babies.  Congratulations, Craig and Terri, the puppies are so fine and healthy.  There are some lucky people that are taking them home in a few weeks.

Thanks to all.  I was gone to my god sons Army Grad and my wife and daughter took the photos of the puppies playing and the Bucket of Bullie photos.  They say they don't do a good job.  Looks like they have been hired to do them from now on.  For those of you that have not tried to take a photo of a 5 week old puppy try a litter of puppies.  They are quicker than uncle sam taking his taxes.

Congratulations to your god son on his graduation.  The picture is as adorable as can be.  Cracking up about you saying they move quicker than Uncle Sam taking taxes, LOL!  Can only imagine how quickly they were on the move.  Looking forward to seeing Xena grow up.  She has some gorgeous parents, so she's going to be a beauty.

Taping ears under 8 weeks old while the puppies are still with litter mates is almost impossible unless you wish to keep them separated from each other. They would a blast chewing and tearing at each others tape within seconds.
I think these guys will all have their ears up by 8 weeks of age. If not the new owners will get a taping demonstration during the time of puppy pickup. Common practice for us.

Only 1 Peanut has one ear not quite up.  All others are up.  They may look a little droopy at times as they run etc.  That new owner has already seen the Taping video and insturctions, just in case it is not up in another week.  Like Steve said, the other puppies will see the taping and Zero in on it.  Seperating them is out of the question as this is their bonding time to associate with their litter mates.
