red mark under neck

hello everyone my bull terrier has a reddish mark under his neck the size of 2 half dollars that some times rises slightly  it comes and goes and is itchy i have tried many different products and have taken him to the vet they say its a yeast infection, but it comes and goes sometimes in hours it never completely goes away it just fads today it is really bad i have been to derm vets changed his food kept him away from wheat products all meds , i am out of answers any help will be greatly appreciated

Also consider a harness and ditch the collar completely for 2 months... See if that helps

Yeast infections are treatable with antibiotic/antifungal wipes and an additive such as coconut oil. Most yeast infections cause a brownish tinge to the fur or skin (usually seen on the feet or between toes) and will often cause hair thinning or loss. Yeast infections also typically have a distinct smell... I would agree with philsergeant to ditch collars until it heals completely. I've also seen a lot of people suggest diaper rash cream with positive results.
