I can't remember an entire day ever before when there has been not one comment placed on the FORUM.
Everybody must be frozen stiff!!! Well I couldn't let the day pass without ANY comment, so..... "Chill Out", or rather, should I say; "Thaw Out" and start typing!

Cold isn't the word, it's just plain nasty outside. Fire is on in the house and pure laziness has set in. My hats off to those enduring sub zero temperatures. I'm suffering here in NC and today's low was like 19.

I took Apollo out this morning and the wind was so cold it bit into my cheeks!!! It was awful! Of course it still took a certain 4 legged someone forever to find the perfect spot to poo!

It was sleeting on I-10 in Mississippi on the way home this morning and I even saw a few snow flakes in Ft. Walton Beach.

Gee, I'm sorry I asked... we were pretty cold at 52 this morning... I hope everybody gets to warm up, and to cheer up and get their Bullies some exercise... anyway it's better to hear ya'll complain, than not hear from you at all!

Rumour

We woke up of -23C (-9F) yesterday and had 70km (43.5 mi) an hour winds on top of that. Dogs did their business at lightning speed and were right back to the blankets beside the fire. Rumour even rolls herself up in hers - sometimes she even needs help getting untangled
It's not near as cold this morning but a bunch of snow fell overnight and the wind is still crazy so there's big drifts everywhere. Today I get to watch the critters jump around like deer. They hate when the snow touches their bellies!

Apollo is such a turd! It was 12° last night and it STILL took him 10 minutes to finally go potty! I wish he would do his in lightening speed!! Hahahaha )

He's getting big, still small compared to some his age. He just turned seven months and is 43 lbs. I don't mind because he thinks he's a lap dog and I still hold him like a baby! Lol he's like a personal heater.

California weather is really nice. I was stationed in California for 3 years. Spent 3 years in Hawaii too where the weather was even better. But I can't lie, I'd never wish to live in either of the states. I love seeing the seasons and I don't think a winter would be a winter without seeing some snow. We're supposed to get 4-8 inches tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it. Hard to believe the forecast calls for snow because it was 62 degrees today. Tomorrow will be in the 30's with SNOW.

It has been awful here too. Roxanne held her poop for over 12 hours before she finally would go. We laugh because our door mat has holes in it and when it is so cold she pees right on it, I say it is a pee-cub tray

The California weather is nice, but we really REALLY need some rain! Cookie has been in heat and both her and Taco have been driving me insane these past couple of weeks, I don't want any accidents or injuries and now I'm exhausted. Great pics Steve...@Boyda...Taco and Cookie look like they love the California weather. I'm in Brazil now and it was near 100 degrees today here in Rio. But I did get a photo from my daughter of the "great snow event" in Panama City Beach. LOL...that huge blizzard shut the entire island down!

That picture is actually just Taco and JB, poor Cookie is in heat and I have to keep them separate. What a pain in the a**! One is inside, while the other is outside, if both Are inside I have to keep them separate by two rooms, cause if Cookie is close to Taco he just whines..... And whines.... And whines some more, I swear I'm going to go insane! I miss my normal schedule! Here are some pictures of him at the shoreline the other day with my friends pups. I am really starting to miss my cold weather, strange weather this year for sure!

I can't help but laugh my a** off on that post! Reminds me of the recent weather in Texas and how they closed school for something very similar! (I have family there)

The last picture of the frenchie is hysterical Steve! Lol I love flip flap weather, I'm over this cold weather. I love the snow but not so much the negative degrees that seem to have come with it this year. Spud looks great soapskid!

I have a brother and sister who live in the Atlanta area and there stories are awful! My sister had a friend who picked her up from work and did have a full gas tank and ran outta gas while sittin in traffic and had to walk miles, thankfully they made it to a fire house ad the firemen hve them a ride home in a fire engine. I would that, though, that if your sitting in traffic an not moving for hours you would just turn the car off instead of running the gas out but what do I know :-/ but they got everything taking care of yesterday and everyone is safe! Crazy situation!

He's definitely at the teenage stage, lanky awkward looking, stubborn and pushin limits! Lol he gets compliments on his coat all the time! I have to give credit to this forum for all the suggestions! He is the softest short haired dog I've even had the honor of petting and he is so shiny!

Do they hold up to tug well? Going to make or grab one. Need to work on attention and focus before agility starts. Using a flirt would help some.

They are made with a bungee cord so when they grab and pull it's not going to hurt them. The only down fall is they've let go when it was stretch thin and smacked me.... Feels great! lol!

The flirt pole holds up well for tug. Stoges was a little frozen and think he just ripped it off. But was mentioned, Stoeger likes to stretch it out as far as he can then let go. Be prepared to duck! Lol I've caught it with my face a couple times.... Lol

OK, I enjoyed the past snow days but enough is enough. It's not even all that cold outside but the snow is relentless. It has been snowing VERY hard all day and it doesn't appear as though it's going to let up any time soon. Schools and stores are all closed and no cars are on the road.Looking out the window right now I can't even see the road. I spent most of the day outside today and walking around in all that snow wears you quickly. So much for all the global warming theories.
