In the third picture she is asleep in my recliner. Ruth and the girls bought that chair for me after my open heart surgery in 2011. The girls say that she loves sleeping there and I wonder if it could be because my scent lingers....not gonna tell you which scent....just consider it a general term!  B-)

@Philsergeant....LOL...you are probably right about Maya and my grand baby Ariana. Bear probably weighs in around 80 lbs. And at least Maya can claim runner-up in the Sleeping Beauty competition.

@exiled...thanks....we are known as 4 beauties and the beast....guess who the beast is? Hint: I look a lot better with my girls alongside me than I do solo!  B-)

@bulliesofnc...When we first got Maya my wife Ruth, being the consummate professional cosmetologist that she is, promptly went out and got Maya the entire regimen of the Paul Mitchell for dogs products. But believe me, when she goes walking there is not a mud puddle, water filled ditch, or neighborhood sprinkler that she does not know....intimately!
