Brooklyn and I are back...
..and glad to be so. After the death of my much beloved little brother in Vegas I have been out of state and of course things were and are tough. I am pleased to report though that Brooklyn has learned a whole lot and is doing very well. She continues her interupted obedience training on the 12th where I suspect she will continue to learn more about how to train me!
I did notice that upon my return she has some "blister-like bumps under her bare area below the sternum, down in the bare area of her tummy. They look red and sore with white "heads" on them. She does not bother them but I am wondering if I should be putting something on them? AB Cream? Bag Balm? Any of you good guys run into this and what did you use for it please.
Hope you all are doing well. We have been DROWNED here with the wettest Sept on record! I returned home to find two RV's of company in my meadow neither of which knew that you cannot park on the grass once it starts to get really wet or your RV is gonna be there until next summer! sigh... Brooklyn had a fabulous time with the two visiting dogs, an older basenji and a young yappy dysfunctional chihuahua. She is also adapting well to being a "Country Dog" as opposed to a City Patio Dog and goes in and out of the dog doors all the time...even when its raining outside which surprises me.
Keep your powder dry guys! Sonja &^ Brooklyn

The image is too small for me to read...
Thanks you guys! I ditto Stoegers question...I can't read the label on your pix phil. Tell us what the product is please? I changed my laundry detergent so perhaps that will help some for Brooklyn...I wash her bedding every week and maybe she's got a problem with that type or brand or something. I am thinking that you may be correct phil. 2 acres + of grass here.
Sorry it took so long for me to get back on the forum! This !!$*&@!!! DDDU(Danged Dinosaur Dial-Up) is the pits! I Have signed up for the newsletter so I hope I can keep up a bit that way.

....Brooklyn in Oregon. LOVE your newsletter! While I cannot access your great Bully Forum( just too loaded with graphics for my old 'puter and dial up) I sure miss it....Dang!
Brooklyn has a pal now(I lost my lil 3-legged ACD boy Pumba 2 months ago with seizures) . A wonderful almost- six year old Aust Cattle Dog named OnTheGo Benjamin Blue, AKA Ben(from a terrific EX Marine Military K9 Trainer). Ben is a registered Therapy Dog and was "employed" by the city of Bend, OR to keep the danged geese off of the golf course and loved by the children in the Children's Hosp there where Ben was a regular visitor. Owner Joe(shot up in Iraq )had a bad relapse and needed a Service Dog so I was lucky to get Ben who is trained in only GERMAN. Oy Vey! But we are getting to know one another and he and Brooklyn just hit it off right away, play and play and are closely bonded now. They have NO Language Barrier! :-P
Brooklyn is recovering quickly from having another small tumor removed(histocytoma, not anything bad but it got inflamed) which has once more, interfered with her ob classes; but hey, we'll just pick them up later. And speaking of which Steve I want to tell you that Brooklyn is now HEELING on a LOOSE Lead in Petsmart! Yes! Something I thought would never happen! Good Girl!!!. We are doing circles both directions with Heeling and auto sits around display stands, people and dogs. She STANDS, DOWNS and STAYS(briefly so far) in all positions and is working on a good "SIT for GREETING". what a good girl she is!
She has experienced her first snow as of yesterday! We got 6 inches of white powder...rather extreme for us. Both furkids are having a blast out playing in the snow! I must tell you that I did something really dumb as after many years of having ACD's(and many foster ACD's too)I forgot myself and while out in the snow with Brooklyn I made a snowball. I gave her the usual(for me)cue of "WATCH IT! CATCH IT! and of course she has never done this(and probably never will). I lobbed the snowball at her and it hit her right between the ears with a SPLAT! and she looked at me like I was a dummy! LOL So, yes, she IS a Bully with long legs and NOT a
cattle dog!
Just wanted to let you know I miss the forum and all of the good people and Bullies on there.
Happy Holidays to everyone from Sonja, Brooklyn and Benjamin Blue.
