Why does God?

I believe that all on this Forum believe, that, in the English Bull Terrier, God created the most fabulous of canines!... (if you are part of this forum you must feel similarly... otherwise you'd be the owner of another breed).... If you believe that man created EBT's..., well, then I can't help you.  But I started this thread because I think it'll be interesting to post our views, observations and testimonies about the things that make EBT's incredibly wonderful. I know God has instilled in these creatures an amazing character, compassion, loyalty and intelligence, as well as amazing beauty.... I ask us all to post examples of all of these characteristics and features... any examples.... knock yourself out....

I start with the question... Why would God give an EBT such beautiful eyes...instead of just ordinary dogs eyes... I can sit an look at Isabella's eyes in a trance, trying to understand why He would make them with such perfection.... (Find me a Hollywood model or other dog with eyes like this......)

I will provide the fact that the Bull Terrier is the ONLY dog with triangle shaped eyes!

A BT isn't for everyone but when I lost my girl of 14 yrs I was devastated and I like to think God brought yhese two into my life after her passing because it was gonna have to be one special dog to follow that heartache I still feel today. I carry her memory everywhere even after 4 yrs and still say her name when asked what's your dogs name. A BT is exactly what I needed and although they don't replace her and never will they are good for my soul and brought into my life because God loves me and wants me to have a loyal friend that only a BT can provide.

I've ha a couple dogs before and growing up, but I'll tell you this fact. None have affected me the way Stoeger has. It's like I can actually feel him loving us right back. It's the things that happen when you aren't expecting it.
For example, kev but Stoeger in bed with me yesterday morning and you know where he wanted to sleep? On my head! I've never had a dog do that! And all you can do is try to lay as still as possible so they can be comfy and smile.
Stoeger def has a wonderful personality and I feel sorry for any person who says that dogs can't feel emotions or have personalities or don't care. I look at Stoeger and kev and I are all he has, he WANTS us. And we love him from his black wet nose allllllllllllllll the way to the white tip of his tail.

I do believe that we are one of the lucky ones that god trusted with this special special breed.

Hear! Hear! Stoges_mom..... That's definitely one of the greatest differences I've experienced.... Their ability to actually LOVE! in a demonstrable way... all other dogs I have know will accept love and caring, but EBT's actually give it back.  Marco has this habit of looking at you from the other side of the couch, then getting up and coming across to sit next to you,.. sits back on his haunches to wrap his front legs around your neck and actually gives you a hug.... combined with a head lick or three.

God gave bullies the instinctual ability to give the best ear kisses! I will say that our Chocolate Lab, Curly, was clearly capable of returning love as well. His expressions of love towards us were equally unique and palpable.

It's hard to resist when Maya cuts those beautiful eyes at you. You look back, and here she comes with those irresistible ear kisses! This is surely a breed where the Almighty incorporated everything HE knew would be loved and appreciated by those of us blessed to have them as part of the family.
