Thor, I completely agree with Steve about this.. It's very prudent to do your research and be selective! From my personal experience, I visited the AKC website in order to locate reputable breeders, but discovered after emailing several of them that many have discontinued breeding ages ago, and was informed that the AKC Breeder Referal link can be a bit outdated. Thankfully, I finally found Bullies of NC, which is who I purchased my puppy from and i can't write enough positive stuff about this particular breeder without taking up an entire page... There awesome! And Steve has created this incredible forum to help out new Bull Terrier parents like us don't be tempted into purchasing a puppy from anywhere, do your homework, and don't become too discouraged if you cannot locate a great breeder in your area, I live in the state of Oregon, and my puppy was flown to me all the way from North Carolina and he did just fine! I'm so blessed to have him and i have zero regrets! Best of luck to you in your search

Yes and thank yall iv been bunches of studying and you right alot of the sites on the Internet is very much out dated and just from your average joe blow breeder... and thank again to you to steve iv learned alot from your fourm and I may have found a breeder here in my arae and from what im reading from hear I got all papers pedigree. 1 years health guarantee. Vet UTD on all shots... AKC and all breeding rights but thats no concern cus im most likely not gonna breed him but if all fails I will be turning to you guys I loved the site and all the beautiful Bullies yall had but from my discretion of all that comes included with the bully im looking at does that seem legit to yall? From what iv been reading up on thats good and standards are great thanks for the input again yall really dont know how much I appreciate this forum

I'm always a bit weary about any breeder offering full registration rights without either a written contract or waiting until a future date to verify breeding intentions with the appropriate mate. That's another whole subject in itself.
Be careful to read and fully understand the health guarantee. Some make it sound as though they have a good health guarantee but will not honor genetic disorders associated with the breed. Additionally, many health concerns don't pop up until the puppy is older than one. 2 year Health guarantee is a safer bet and if the breeder is confident in the health of their litters they should honor it.
