Well...I hope this email goes where it should...sorry not tech savvy. Pumpkin was rescued ...sort of...we found her laying on our lawn. She followed my daughters into the house. She had no collar, no micro chip. We asked around, as well but no one ever came looking for her!?? She is the BEST dog I have ever had! She has been with us for 8 years. My question is this: Is it normal for Bullies to develop allergies as they age. Pumpkin NEVER had any problems until recently. My Vet recommended Steroid shots and I did do it a couple of times...but she lost all interest in play and gained weight. I have changed her to a no grain diet-Nulo dry. I do give her chicken once in awhile. Someone even suggested she may be allergic to that?? Anyway, bless her heart she is losing hair around her tail, and drags her butt on the ground...which drives me insane..because of course she is going to do it when I have company. I have been giving her Benedryl twice a day. Help!
