this nice lady who purchased this gorgeous liver brindle from Steve.I watch him grow so fast so quick, the lady and I are friends on Instagram. Can't with until I get mines
Sergio is a beautiful Bullie and his color is extremely rare. Those that follow me on Facebook may have noticed a few people commenting about him when I shared the YouTube photo slide of all the puppies when they were about one week old. I had people contacting me offering a lot of money for him knowing he was already spoken for. We don't do business that way and I am just thrilled Sergio went to an awesome owner who loves him dearly. He is now the mascot in their town's Gold's Gym where the owner works. Liver colored BT's, although not within color standards, have become extremely sought after and there are many breeders wanting to get their hands on them for breeding purposes. It falls under the "designer" dog frenzy. Very similar to those selling Blue French Bull Terriers which usually start at around $5000 for a puppy. I have to be honest and say I'm not into all that designer stuff and prefer to stick with the standards of the breed. Sergio just happened to be a rewarding surprise to us and one that captured a lot of attention. Although that was only litter Julie and I had this year it was a really good one with gorgeous puppies. Apollo came from the same litter and we're blessed to be able to see him often since we're neighbors.

Sergio my little lover!!! I'm glad he close too! We've already made plans that anytime we're in each other's area to get these 2 together. He must be at the gym often, because that is not my little friend who left 3 weeks ago. >:D<
Geez, they never even sent me an email or photo since Cookie left. How did you get in contact with them? If you talk to them again tell them Steve says "Hello" and sure would be happy to see a photo of Cookie from time to time.

I seen seen them on Instagram Steve. You should really make one and promote your kennels. If you ask your kids I bet you they'll say it's really big. But I found them under a hashtag #bulliesofnc
@AtibaCooper24 - My son does use Instagram. I asked him if he thought it would be good to initiate a Bullies of NC channel (or whatever they would call it) and he said he didn't think it would be beneficial. I might look into it on my own though. Maybe he just doesn't want me getting familiar with it.

1) what the heck is Instagram? Something like Twitter... Not that I'm into that either. 2) I'm more interested in how she is going to get down from the fridge.
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
Instagram is a social network of pictures and now videos. You have followers and ppl advertise their stuff on there or show pictures of interests, family, photography, and other crazy stuff.
Yes, and it's all done via smart phone or iphone. Most of the younger generation is no longer using facebook and have gone to Instagram for quick photo and video sharing. (I still prefer Facebook and I never got into Twitter)

Yes! where the heck have you been!?? Well not you, Sergio! 8-} How old is he now? How much does he weigh? Do you live on the beach? Or, like us, does it take you 25 mins. to drive there? He sure seems to get there often.

Thank you for all the welcomes! Sergio is sitting beside me with his head on my lap as im typing right now. @Leslie Im pretty sure hes a swimmer, definitely a water dog! He was standing at the edge of the water when a small wave came in that was a little deeper than expected and he automatically whipped out his doggie paddle skills!
@Philsergeant He will be 16 weeks this Friday and weight in at 24lbs last friday, I live in Wilmington about 6 miles from Wrightsville Beach and about the same distance Figure Eight Island. Since its summer Wrightsville no longer allows pets to run around so instead I have my friend call me into the guards at Figure Eight. Since its a private island/beach Sergio gets to run around and dig in the sand (which is hilarious) all he wants and theres practically no one around.
@apollosmomma Im so glad I finally got all set up on here! I think its about to arrange a puppy reunion! Id be happy to make the drive out that way! Thats whats so awesome about where you live, everyone can visit!!!
@BONC_Jacksonville Thank you! Im happy to announce that it looks like Sergio's ear finally made the commitment to stand! That right ear had been going up and down for about a week....stubborn little sucker!
16 Weeks! In the pics I thought they reflected different stages, because in the other two he looks like a puppy, but in the middle one he looks around 60lbs already! He's going to be a big boy. The sand digging is a riot! Our kid's dad is Australian and we always joke that they are trying to get back to him because the dig such deep holes. It's a problem when we take them to this sea-side restaurant and sit outside, they dig holes that make the tables and chairs collapse. The waitresses get pissed at us. Keep send pics and reports, he looks like a real character!!

Phil, Sergio is Apollo' s brother!!! If we took pics and made them black and white it would be hard to tell the difference!! Serg has definitely grown into his skin!!! Apollo totally bullied him around. I'd like to see him try it now! ) K8 I found out there is a dog walk every second and forth Saturday of each month month at 10 am. I was going to take Apollo tomorrow but I believe it's supposed to rain. The next one is the 27th if you're interested!
Stop confusing a stupid person like me, it's quite easily done! Apollo I thought was in NC... Sergio is in Wilmington? Howed they get to beat up on each other.? So many Bullies, so much fun, I'm happy to be confused.

Phil, When they still lived with Steve....Apollo was a big bully! The day K8 and I got to pick them up Apollo was showing his arse! Now Apollo lives in Richlands and Sergio, Wilmington.
@apollosmama Hahaha I totally remember hearing/watching Sergio and Apollo going at it when we had everyone outside to play; I didn't know those sweet little puppies could make such ferocious sounds! Those dog walks sound awesome! I would love to meet up with you and take the boys. Sergio has training classes every Saturday for the next 4 weeks from 12:30 to 1:30. If it doesn't look like ill be able to finagle making it back by 12:30, I definitely want to go after his classes are finished!
Im going to Dogtrain here in Wilmington. The Lady who owns it has two bull terriers as well as one of the other trainers. The owner is who is instructing Sergio's class, she's tough on him but really good.
Thank you, I was just curious. I had been looking around for trainers where I could have Apollo tested for his k9 good citizenship. I'm not impressed with the ones in Jacksonville.
Search and find the right one by meet and greet if possible. I went looking for weeks before I got Spud and got him on classes at 13 weeks. In the last two months Spud has done so well but then again I have nothing to really measure him against.
The great thing about being a stay at home mom (for now because it's starting to drive me nuts) is I get to train Apollo myself. I have to say he is doing rather well. Starting to listen better while outside, and works like a champ indoors. Still can't get his butt to walk right on the leash. He'll only do so for short distances and if the slightest noise distracts him, he's done! 8-} I have my list of the 10 things he has to pass. Thank goodness I have a few months still. Hahaha!
I just wanted to share one of my latest photos of Sergio posing for the camera......and then another of him with his faaavorite toy at my mom's house, the cat's scratching post. :P
