Skin problem? please help
Hi, i have a full breed bull terrier, He is 3 years old and i noticed for the past 2 weeks that he started scratching himself alot more often. I noticed some bumps on this back that were really itchy for him, then i noticed some red spots near his privets, any idea what this could be? skin condition , mites etc?
I am thinking about taking him to the vet but i dont want a run around with them giving me BS solution, thanks everyone for any help

They found a very small amount of fleas on him but the weird part was that he’s allergic to the fleas......even though there was a small amount of them, their bites was enough to effect his entire body and made him break out. The vet said she hasn’t seen a dog break out that bad as he did.
240$ later , they gave him steroids shot to counter the allergies, steroids pills to help him fight it off, a new flea medication, and a steroid cream that I have to apply after I bath him which I did first thing.
Little guy looked like he was in hell for 4 or 5 days, when I buzzed his top coat I was shocked at how bad it was, I felt like shit I let go on for so long. The Coat covers a lot
Anyways I hope this helps anyone else out there, apparently our bullies are allergic to flea bites
