Jackie @5 months - happy to say her behavior is improving and the nipping is getting better but she still has moments where she goes completely bonkers and needs a time out. Pinning works...most of the time...but I'm learning EBT's have their own mind. We call her our Sour Patch kid because sometimes she's sweet and then she's sour...I forgot to mention she really enjoys sleeping in the dryer.image

    She's gorgeous!!! And yes, they are very Bull headed but, thankfully, as she matures she'll demonstrate that her greatest desire is t please you, and she'll drop the sour kid. I hope you give her a kill switch when she gets in the drier, in case someone inadvertently mistakes her for a pile of damp laundry!!! :(

    Amazing picture!!! I'm always fascinated how smart these little monsters are! Congrats on the improvement, i always see the mishaps as that they are still puppies so therefore that time when you think they have learned, do the disciplining action once more lol, its a learning process everyday!

    I think that dryer just became her doggie den. She's claimed it so you may have to just unplug it and dry your clothes on hangers outside or get her a dog crate of her own that she can resort to for some R&R.

    Thank you for your comments. I really enjoy this site and how passionate everyone is about this breed. I'm so happy to have her and I'm really learning so much about the breed through this forum.. And no worries, I never leave her unattended in the dryer no matter how comfortable she gets. She actually grumbles when Its time to get out...lol.

    Well now, to take a version of Steve's idea, you need to get creative, see if the junk yard, or even better an antique store ( if you can beat them down in price) has one of those old fashioned, non functional washers or driers. Paint it purple or something and make it her permanent home!
