  • What an awesome dog park! With a pond and everything! I would just be careful with taking him to the park so early since his shots are not complete and you never know what could be tracked in there. If you are trying to socialize him, you should look into some puppy socialization courses, the bright side to those is you know all the dogs are up to date on their shots. But great pics!

  • It's called Cosmo park in gilbert az it has 3 parks on for timid dogs then s big area with some obstacles and then another with a big pond and diving board for the dogs.
  • He looks like he had a good time! Great park. Did he show any interest in the water?

I didn't take Quinn to a dog park until she was 12 weeks old. Luckily we had a nice grassy area in the middle of the apartments where she could stretch her legs a bit. :)

Great park... And great for you to take him there... Keep doing it as regularly as humanly possible... It is the very best therapy for EBTs. You might get an embarrassing moment or two when he is over friendly with older dogs and you might get one or two dogs putting him in his place with a snap when he's a nuisance... But don't let doing that let it deter you... The interaction with other dogs is sure to do you proud.
In the beginning God created English Bull Terriers, in the image of EBT's, God created all other breeds.
  • Great pics....great park. Maya loves our dog park as well. It's a private park and all the dogs are properly vetted to make sure they are up to date on shots. Each day around 10:30 they bring out the dogs they have boarded. That's when we try and take Maya....and of course Bear is there with her as well. This is her usual position in the car on the way home.

  • Yeah when I took ciroc he found a dog his size and played and he got so happy that he pinned him and started to hump him haha @philsergeant
  • Yeah he went in a little on the shallow end then I slowly dropped him in on the deep end but not far from shall to show he could swim he lived it but had a little bit of shivers haha but he had a great time @quinnofhearts
  • I agree with everyone else. When I first brought Spud to the park he was a terror but almost all dog owners at the park were understanding since he was a puppy. We went almos every day for months to curb his energy and socialize so he won't have e typical aggressive bully play, which isn't bad but I'd like to be able to calm him down if he goes too far with certain dogs.

Spud will be a year now and since he's been given the ok on his mouth warts by the vet I have started taking him again yesterday. He was a joy and basically just greeted all owners and was calm with all dogs.
