Well I think the time has come where all puppies have found homes from this litter. It was great seeing a new member join the forum and provide great photos of the puppies they were eager to sell (or find loving homes) for.
I'm in hopes we see more photos of the parents or other Bull Terriers you own and raise Lankakore.
I think I'm not alone in stating we'd enjoy hearing back from you in other times where selling puppies isn't your sole topic.
Keep in touch, post a photo or photo or two, expand on a different topic, or say Merry Christmas. I hope we're not having to wait for your next litter advertised for sale to hear back from you.

Why in the world would you castrate (desex) a young puppy like that? That's cruel and medieval at best. Yank your hormone producing glands out at adolescence and see what problems it causes. Same with dogs. I was interested in Chronic until you mentioned that.

My translation of what he was trying to communicate would be..... She has an (over/under) bite, therefore he is willing to sell her but not for breeding. I think his dogs are in fabulous condition, he's obviously very picky. Look at those coats!!!

Perhaps you are right. However, it's hard to imagine another definition of "castration". And as far as being quick to judge, a recent Facebook thread on saddleback marks on bullies yielded some pretty judgmental comments and down right insults. But hey, we all are capable of being "quick to judge" are we not?

The interpretation is pretty simple, people should not breed severely faulted dog, which was the whole basis of that thread, those dogs should spend the rest of their lives happily spoiled. Overseas, an incorrect bite is a severe fault, much like the saddle marked dogs are a severe fault in the US. Instead of judging her for ensuring that her dog will not be breed down the line, maybe you should commend her efforts even if you don't believe in the practice.

I think you'll find that those that exhibit, show, and professionally breed take more offense to simple facebook posts that exploit so many poorly bred Bull Terriers that offer nothing to the breed except continued faults and slow progression downward to the weakening of the breed standards.
I'd much rather see people taking a stand for the proper ways in which the Bull Terriers are bred by pointing out flaws without ridulcule or slander vice ignoring them and seeing others (who don't know any better) click on the "Like" button of a Bull Terrier displaying uncharacteristic traits like saddleback marks.
The post you're referring to Xtracho judged a photo of a dog that was used as an example without any mean spirit towards the owner or dog. To be honest the post is a good example of providing knowledge to others about a authentic fault within the breed which is becoming more and more populated because others have no clue it's a fault. I'm pretty sure the post also states that the Bull Terrier looks nice other than saddleback "Fault."
I understand exactly what your saying in regard to interpreting the above post in regard to Castration. However, I'm thinking the person making the posts is probably using a language conversion tool that's not doing him/her much justice and the verbiage isn't being converted correctly. At least I hope that's the case.

Actually you're absolutely correct on your concerns for desexing a puppy at such a young age. What I, and I think others, were trying to say is that this breeder probably doesn't know how to write in English so what he/she is doing is taking a sentence like:
"Chronic does not have a proper Bite therefor she is being sold as Pet quality and required to be spayed " and typing it into a language converter that comes back with similar words but with harsh meaning.
I guarantee if the breeder could read English they'd be commenting on this post and going on the defense but they probably learned by copying and pasting our conversations into their language conversion it comes up barely understandable. Much the same as their post with the word castration used which wouldn't really be possible on a female dog.
I'm just trying to think positive because I think if their intent was to desex this puppy they'd have already done so but they're actually trying to articulate that they require the puppy to be desexed by the future owner at an appropriate time.

When I read the short post with "castrate" in it, I'll admit that i gulped, it sounded so...barbaric and violent with the horrible choice of words. It made my skin crawl and go grrrrrrrrr! After looking at it a few times, it seemed like the person was trying to express that she wouldn't be representing it as a show dog, that it would be a pet quality pet that should not be bred. Only the OP knows when or how she would go about doing that or ensuring that the dog is spayed.

After watching that video with the vet talking about the health consequences of automatically spaying and neutering, I'm planning to keep my dog intact.

Lankakore, can you clear up what you were trying to say?

You know, I had my dog spayed at 6 months old. Would I choose that age again, knowing everything I know about her and bull terriers now? No, probably not. But honestly I have to scoff at calling it "barbaric, violent, medieval and cruel." I did not cackle wildly after I dropped my dog off at the vet to be spayed. I did not do a victory dance as she lay quietly in her bed with a stomach wrap because her stitches bled. I spayed her because I had zero intentions of breeding and good thing too, cause she's not a good breed standard.

You can argue with people all day about the ethics of desexing dogs. I'm not going to. But me getting my dog spayed was not an act of cruelty or violence. Ignorance? Maybe. But she's doing just fine.

Thousands of others are doing fine as well. There are many Vets that have opposing thoughts on the proper time frames in which to neuter and spay dogs. However, it's the owner that makes that decision for the health and well being of the dog they are raising. I may not desex my Bull Terriers but I'm not against it especially if the health of the dog warrants it.

Everyone has a different train of thought in neuter/spay. I got Spud neutered at 1 year, and although he has calmed down a lot it's not likely due to the neuter. It's primarily someone being home correcting him 24/7.

The neuter for me was because he is a pet only. I've had people ask to stud him out but I have no interest in breeding. One dog right now is enough for me but I'd like to get Spud a companion but not til' a couple years.
