edited July 2012 in Forum Member Photos
Today I took pictures of my dogs playing outside.  Snoopy, almost 3 years old, is the white Bullie.  Daisy, almost 7 months old, is the red and white.image

They all look like their having a blast. I think having other dogs keeps them fit, healthy, and energetic.

  • they seem so tall to me haha, one of my bull terriers is absurdly short, he looks like a midget haha.
  • Thanks, Folks:)  Having multiple dogs does keep them in shape.  They get to be in each other's business all the time.  Unfortunately, I'm one of those parents that allow my dogs on the furniture, so besides walking with me and playing with each other, they jump on the sofas and beds a lot as they run around the house.  Danielle, pictures are hard to tell size by.  To give you some idea of Snoopy and Daisy's height, Sookie, JRT, is only 10 inches tall.  She's little but wiry. Hey, I just think I used a quote from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles"  !!
  • Another thought, as I'm new to this breed,  from all the hundreds of pictures I've seen of EBT's, it appears that some favor the more terrier looking dogs and some favor the more bull dog looking dogs.  I think Snoopy is very terrier looking.  When I first saw Steve's dogs in person,  I told him Snoopy doesn't really look like his dogs. My son, Nathaniel who was with me, agreed.
Daisy walks differently from Snoopy.  She walks more like a Bulldog-kind of a side to side motion when viewed from the top as I look down upon her. Of course, she's still very young, so many things might change.
Snoopy is so muscular right now that the vet has a hard time pinching up skin to give him a shot.
  • Daisy, my brutus is my male and he is 2 maybe 3 inches bigger than my female and not quite a year old, both long and taller. my female isn't as broad or deep in the chest as him at 21/2 years and he has that gaint you speak of the bull dog gaint:) he runs sideways and she is bouncy like the terrier so I do know what you mean:) I think its their breading, her dad was tall and not as wide but big, her mom was short and stocky, and brutus had two parents that were stocky and tall. I like his build better so I must be a bulldog fan:) I love them all and I too enjoy having 2 dogs now that brutus is more behaved:) Cleo laying at my feet right now was a holy terror too when she was younger so he will work out of it!! ( I hope ) !! They keep each other company and get each other in trouble sometimes but their pals and we love em:)!! Their was recently in Michigan a male EBT named max that was up for rescue but I would have to be completely out of my mind to take on another ( yes I thought about it ) haha but I got my hands full with my Big guy and he must have got a home cause he's nolonger on their which is wonderful as I hope he got a loving home.:)
