Is it healthy to mix raw meats with kibble? I've read that it's not good to mix it due to the digestive system of a dog. Vice versa when could a puppy start a raw and kibble mixed diet ?
We feed Maya a mix of raw and kibble twice a day every day. She also gets a scoop of NuPro and a squirt of Grizzly Oil once each day. She's never exhibited any evidence of digestive upset. She's been on that diet ever since we got her at 8 weeks. She's 6 months now (see the thread I just posted for pics).
Every feeding I provide 2 cups of kibble. The raw, veggies, or any other supplemental food I don't really measure out. At this point I know each Bullies appetite, weight, etc and can mix their bowl per requirements. I don't suggest looking to conduct feedings on any specific scale since each dog will have different levels of energy, appetite, and metabolism. It's best to feed based on each dogs needs in order to suit their suitable weight.

Kibble is just a word used for dry dog food. Use a good 5 star grain free kibble.
