Our baby, Pogi is heat We were waiting for this weeks ago If everything goes well, we mate her with El Adon Wild Famy A fully brindle girl and a white boy... Nice pair
Thanks a lot! Yes, I'm excited Only a week and we go to Pogis new "husband" ;-) I hope too that everything goes well ) I was waiting for this mating a long time ago
Thank You very much! Every second day we go to Slovakia to Adon and to the vet for mating. Adon looks fantastic He is very cute They look sweet together with Pogi
Thanks for the nice words! They look great together Adon is an love for me and now for Pogi too ;-) Yes Zerlett, they are minies... Unfortunatelly I am too small ( only 153cm ) and my mini looks next to me as a giant ;-) , but she is not tall, Pogi is about 37cm and her "husband" is also about this size.
Yippiieee!!! We were yesterday at the vet ( we couldn't wait till thursday ) and the vet saw 3-4 pups with the ultrasonic test!!! WE ARE HAPPPYYYYY!!!!!! :x
I think the same... There can be more than 3-4 pups And yes, I have a closer date 17th of June.. I count it from the third mating. There were 4 matings... And the vet told that the third was perfect.. ;-) Till than there are only a few weeks :x
I'm shocked your vet told you to calculate the date based off the 3rd breeding. The anticipated date of delivery is always forecasted off the 1st breeding. I would highly suggest that you anticipate the date of delivery based off her first day of breeding vice third. I would also recommend that you initiate a temperature reading log about 1 week prior to her delivery date. This way you'll be well aware when to expect the puppies. My wife has this down to a science and always lets me know when the puppies will be born within 12 hours. Our current litter we're advertising were scheduled to be born on April 28th (based off the first day of breeding). Her actual date of delivery was April 28th right on schedule. It's better to expect early than late and fully prepared.

Not my vet told me that the third was perfect, but the vet who made the insemination. And he told this because Pogi was at the third mating the calmest. And also very calm at the fourth mating. So that's why we count it from the 3rd mating. Her face was also different, and I know her faces Of course the date is not 100%, but in the near of it.. Maybe +/- 1-2 days And of course I will read her temperature... But till this time the date was OK what I counted And my vet will examine her regulary. I bring her to ultrasonic in the end of the next week and 10 days after.. My vet is good.. And he likes Pogi And Pogi trusts him, me too ) But thank You for the advice
I always count from the first day and take temps. For ellie 64 days from first breeding is may 28th. So I expect may 27 to may 31 give or take. You can tell when there close there are many signs! The morning of I took ellie out to potty and after she peed she started frantically darting around, she went into labor minutes later. They tend to not eat the morning of as well.
Thank God, I know Pogi good At her first and second litter She didn't show any signs of giving birth... She didn't looked for a place, her temperature was ok ( not law or not high ). I read her temperature in the last 2 weeks 3 times a day. She just simply started it ;-) At her litters I counted from the 3rd mating and it was ok. First time I mated her at the 10th day of the heat, and she was mated on the 10th, 12th, 14th and 16th day. At the second time we did the mating from the 10th day of the heat till the 20th day. I let her at the males home At the second time I counted from the 4th mating and it was good. Now, we mated her 4 times and I count from the 3rd mating. At the first and second mating She was not so calm, but at the 3rd and at the 4th mating She was so calm and in love with the vet ;-) And She was also in love with the male That's why I count the comming of the pups from the 3rd maitng.. Of course I will post pics about the big belly of Pogi and after the babies are born, also about them
Yes Thanks She is bigger and bigger And she eats well And sleeps a lot, but we walk a lot too... Downstairs I take her and bring her in my arms And upstairs too... My back has a lot of pain But that's OK And yess.... We are so so so excited
Thanks!!! Yes, She is getting bigger and bigger :-D The next ultrasound will be on thursday. I will renew than her heart and kidney ultrasonic test too :-) I hope we can see the babies heart too :x I love to see their heart beating :-)
Wow wow wow!!! Yesterday we were on ultrasound test with Pogi. The vet saw 4 pups 100% and he told that there can be a 5th one in the middle.. 2 were on the left side and 2 on the right and we also saw a spine in the middle ( under Pogis chest )
Thanks Yes, I would like to keep a girl. The others will search new homes Yesterday we were at the vet for ultrasound to count how old is the pregnancy. And the date what I counted earlier ( 17th of june ) is perfect The ultrasound showed the same as we measured 3 pups in Pogis belly So... only 11days... I start to be really excited Here's a pic about Pogi and her belly 2 days before. She is just like a tiny cow
