Taking care of 2 litters (14 Puppies) is a lot of work but so worth it. They are all such awesome puppies.

  • When we came to your kennel and home to pick up Daisy, I was very impressed with your Bullies.  They are great looking and have wonderful temperments! You have a beautiful home.  It was a pleasure to visit with everyone!
It was great fun to look into your puppy boxes and see all the little puppy faces looking up at me.  You really should have a picture of that, because it's a sight that would make anyone smile:)
  • Oh I just can't wait to get one like yours Daisy, except a male. We were so disappointed when we saw there was not any red and white ones available, but we love seeing all the new bullies born! So we are keeping our fingers crossed for the next litters!

    Mary,

Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure having you over. We're very fortunate that you keep in touch and send photos and updates. It truly means a lot to us.

We are hoping to have another gorgeous litter from our recent breeding - Maximus X Karamel. We should see some Red & White puppies from that litter. I have decided to retain a female Red and White from that litter. Hopefully she'll be as nice as Daisy. Karamel is a gorgeous Red & White from UKC champion pedigree.

  • Yoshirican, you will get such a kick out of your little Bully when you get him:)  They are so FUNNY!  The wait is worth it.  I promise.
Steve,  Julie and you told me, maybe at least 3 times, it would be okay if I decided we couldn't keep Daisy:)  Ha!  Now you guys are keeping a red and white from the next litter.  You really were serious:)
  • I want to send a little video to you of Daisy in our yard some time in the next week or so.  She's growing quickly.  She's getting pretty use to her harness, but I can't get her to let go of the leash.  She's doing really well with the sit command.  The last couple of days she is mouthing EVERYTHING that comes into contact with her teeth.  I keep sticking chewy toys in her mouth, but she would rather chew everything else.  Any suggestions on how to curb the grabbing and chewing of inappropriate items and body parts?

    Mary,

You need to be stern with her and let her know the biting is not excepted. I understand she's going to want to chew on things right now because she's teething and feels the need to chew on everything but if she thinks it's ok to bite on you or your cloths tell her "NO" sharply and pinch her lip or nose. Bullie Puppies can be hard headed and if they think the consequences to negative behavior were mild or meak they will soon discover that continued negative behavior is well worth those type of consequences. She'll learn, Daisy is smart as a whip.

If you want to get her used to the leash try leaving the leash on her while she's running lose in the house. Just let her drag it around on her own. In time she'll get used to the feeling of having it on just like he got used to wearing a collar.

  • Once again, thank you, Steve:)  I left her leash on outside as suggested.  She is doing a lot better:)  Daisy IS very smart.  She understands NO very well.  She's trying to please and backs off when she hears it.
  • But it doesn't mean she won't try whatever it was again in a few minutes or so.

LOL... Ya, the puppy stage can be rough at times with any breed of dog but in due time they all grow out of it and develop into loving loyal dogs.

Today was a sad day as our last puppy from Makoa's litter left to her new home. It's only been a few hours and they're already missed. The house just isn't the same without the puppies!

My daughter just had to spend a few minutes with the last puppy before the new owners came and got her. Here's a couple pictures:

  • Wow that has to be hard! Didn't even think about that! You bond with each and then have to let them go... Hopefully everybody keeps in contact with updates.

It is hard regardless how long we've been doing it. However, receiving photos and feedback from the puppy owners makes it so worth while.

  • AAAWWWW!  Such cute pictures!  It will be interesting to see what Kalie chooses to do about dogs in her adult life.  Will she always have one or more?  Will she only have Bull Terriers?  She really is enjoying being around all her doggy pals now:)  I actually felt guilty for taking Daisy away:)
