McKenzie and Sunka

It has been far too long. I was meaning to update while I recovered from Shoulder surgery. But that obviously was just far more than my brain could handle.
So McKenzie, in my opinion, has the most innate ability to accept and make friends. As long as they are not trespassing. We had Sunka for about a week and the two of them made great friends in that short time. To this day, they are great sisters. Thanks in part to McKenzie's easy going personality and her ability to listen (years of training). Then a groundhog found a way into the backyard. This triggered McKenzie to attack mode. She killed it and was covered in blood. After a bit of cleanup and a good bath, McKenzie was cut and bite free. This made Sunka a bit uneasy and it took about a week to keep Sunka from reacting to every little thing that was new in the yard. At any rate. All is good now. The cats and dogs are all one big group of a-holes. Always making some new sort of plan to drive us crazy.

Oh Boomer where did Sunka come from? A rescue? Did I miss a post🤔
How lovely to see them both enjoying one another😍
I hope one day I can have a friend for Memphis. I actually could get a black female bully (intact) but I have no secure fencing at the moment and would have the challenge of 'in heat' times too🔥im not settled presently for this situation. One day🙏
Hope your shoulder is A1 and no more slaughter play in the yard😁
Memphis is chasing something at night. He's so proud, hasn't run off far either🙏 Tiger snakes are popping out says my neighbour. I have a homeopath remedy for on route to the vet should we have an incident👍❤️
She was an accident litter from a friend of ours. Red Heeler (Australian cattle Dog) and Border collie mix. But, she shows as more Red Heeler. I knew from day one, McKenzie was the right dog for introducing another one to the pack. She is the most loving dog we have ever owned. Unless you are trespassing. If someone walked in our front door at 2am, she would show them where everything is. Zero aggression. Sunka is a little handful. She has the energy of a thousand puppies. and loves to fetch and learn tricks. She is nonstop running and playing.
I trust that only you will know when and if Memphis and you could handle another dog. It was a long process to decide to take on the additional work for us. Lucky for us, McKenzie made it easy. Its a big choice or should I say it should be a big one.
Dogs will be dogs, if they smell or hear something at night, most likely they will fixate on it. Maybe because they can't see it, so they want to. I'm glad Memphis doesn't stray far.
Thats a beautiful mix IMO.
I'd love a bluey😊
My parents are very happy that Sabrina their staffy absolutely loves Memphis. She will happily have a home with me should it be ever needed. They had a big play today. I'll try to upload the video but it may be too large here. Yep doesn't work😐
Glad you are kept busy with the labour of dog love Boomer😍
